Founder and Director
Lead Through Voice Academy was founded on the belief that confidence, communication, and leadership are among the most important skills a young person can develop.
My journey began with a simple question: What if learners were intentionally taught these skills from an early age rather than being expected to develop them by chance?
My Story
Growing up, I experienced firsthand how powerful communication and confidence can be in shaping a person's opportunities and future success.
While school provided me with valuable academic knowledge, many of the communication, confidence, and leadership skills that would later influence my personal and professional growth were developed outside of the traditional classroom environment.
This led me to an important realisation: many learners possess incredible potential, yet they are not always given structured opportunities to develop the confidence, communication ability, and leadership presence needed to fully express that potential.
Over time, I came to understand that effective communication is far more than simply speaking well. It influences academic achievement, leadership opportunities, personal relationships, self-belief, and future success.
I began to ask a simple question: “What if learners were intentionally taught these skills from an early age rather than being expected to develop them by chance?” That question became the foundation of Lead Through Voice Academy.
The academy was created to provide learners with the structured development, guidance, and opportunities that many young people need to discover their voice, strengthen their confidence, and develop into capable communicators and future leaders.

Master of Education (Educational Leadership and Management)
An advanced qualification specialising in educational leadership, strategic management, learner development, and effective leadership practices within modern educational environments.
Bachelor of Education Honours (Educational Leadership and Management)
Postgraduate qualification focused on leadership theory, educational management, organisational effectiveness, and leadership development within schools.
Bachelor of Education (Intermediate Phase Teaching)
Professional teaching qualification specialising in learner development, pedagogy, curriculum delivery, and effective classroom practice.
Registered with the South African Council for Educators (SACE)
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that communication, confidence, and leadership are not talents reserved for a select few. They are skills that can be intentionally developed through structure, guidance, practice, and encouragement. Every learner deserves the opportunity to develop the confidence to express themselves, the ability to communicate effectively, and the leadership skills needed to make a positive impact on the world around them.
The Mission Behind Lead Through Voice Academy
The mission of Lead Through Voice Academy is to develop confident communicators and future leaders through structured communication and leadership development programmes delivered within schools. Through progressive training, mentorship, and guided development, the academy seeks to empower learners with the skills, confidence, and mindset needed to excel academically, socially, and professionally.
The goal is simple: To help young people find their voice, strengthen their confidence, and unlock their leadership potential.
